Salman Khan sides with Deepika’s Padmavati, turns Bigg Boss 11 house into a palace

Bigg Boss 11 house will be converted into a palace (shahi darbar) to welcome on screen Rani Padmini (Deepika Padukone) and Maharawal Ratan Singh (Shahid Kapoor). The duo will be seen promoting their upcoming release Padmavati on the high voltage reality show. While the makers have massively cut down on the film’s promotions it looks like Salman’s show continues to be on their list. Shahid and Deepika will be visiting Salman Khan’s show this weekend. The episode is expected to be canned this Saturday. Buzz is that Bigg Boss 11 house setup will be revamped for Deepika’s Padmavati. The house will be converted into a palace and will be nothing less than a shahi darbar.

Looks like Bhansali has found a great friend in Salman, who is backing Padmavati strongly. Not the one to mince words while talking, the Race 3 actor opened up about the political uproar and censorship of Deepika’s Padmavati. He said, “I believe that the censor board should take the decision. Sanjay makes very beautiful and nice films. His heroines are very beautiful. His movies never have vulgar and disgusting content. Keeping in mind his past records one should get a sense that he cannot portray anyone in a bad light.”

Deepika too came out strong on the agitation against the film and said, “As a woman, I feel proud to be a part of this film and to tell this story, which needs to be told. And it needs to be told now. It’s appalling, it’s absolutely appalling. What have we gotten ourselves into? And where have we reached as a nation? We have regressed. The only people we are answerable to is the censor board, and I know and I believe that nothing can stop the release of this film,” said Deepika, adding that the film industry’s support symbolises how “this is not about Padmavati… We’re fighting a much bigger battle.”

While Deepika will be joined by Shahid on Bigg Boss 11, as reported earlier Ranveer Singh will not be present on the show.
